Do we live in a fairyland? Where giant mushrooms spring up in the middle of exhibitions to bring brightness and cheer to everyone who experiences them, an area where you can sit under the mushroom and let the canopy protect you and let the comforting sounds emitting from the cap and stem engulf you like a virtual audio curtain veiling you from all the horrors of the world. Just letting the good things filters through, but as with all fairy tales there is an evil twist to this seemingly perfect world.
In a communication driven world, with the opportunities to find out seemly anything, is at our fingertips. We appear to know what is happening in the world, to the extent where we feel knowledgeable, but are we told what is good for us? where to go on holiday? What to eat? What to wear? And how we are trained to react and behave.

We do as we are told regurgitate information we see on the television and read in newspapers, we don’t really know what is going on we are only told half a story, just enough to keep us happy and feeling secure. To the extent where fantasy becomes merged with reality and we cannot tell the difference.

Hutton inquiry 9/03 – 45 minute warning for arming of weapons of mass destruction.
True or false, were we told this to justify the war?
