Reality....Performance....The Stage

In this piece I wanted to effect you both physically as well
as psychologically, working with your own thoughts and memories.
I aim to project images into the mind, through the broadcast of
sounds. Giving you a highly personal perspective on the piece,
providing an everlasting memory from something that is a
fleeting gesture. |
| There are two areas in this piece, firstly the stage which
had giant subwoofers placed under it so that when you walked
upon it the vibrations from the sounds would have a physical
effect on your whole body. Not just your eyes and ears, the art
would in fact move you. |

Then there was the second part, I had placed microphones
all around the gallery, in rooms separate to my own. these
sounds would be projected into my space and relayed to the
listeners through speakers that were placed inside the white
screen that hangs above the stage, proving an opportunity for
the listener to project their own images coming out from the
screen. |
